Description

Mile End Kicks is a 2025 Canadian romantic comedy inspired by director Chandler Levack’s own young adulthood before becoming a professional music critic and filmmaker. The film stars Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria, Faces of Death) as Grace Pine, a young woman who relocates to Montreal in 2011 with ambitions of writing a book about Jagged Little Pill. Instead, she becomes romantically entangled with Archie (Devon Bostick) and Chevy (Stanley Simons), members of the aspiring indie rock band Bone Patrol, while also taking on a role as the band’s publicist.

In support of the film’s theatrical and streaming releases, Sumerian Records commissioned 12 artists to reinterpret the collective body of Jagged Little Pill as an “Inspired by the Motion Picture” soundtrack companion. Featuring covers by artists including Avril Lavigne, The Warning, Poppy, and more.
