Description

For the first time ever on vinyl, Stephen Sanchez’s debut ‘What Was, Not Now’ arrives on Record Store Day Black Friday as a special 5th anniversary edition, pressed on 12” black vinyl and featuring an exclusive etched B-side. Originally released in 2021, the 6-track EP – including beloved tracks “The Pool” and “Hold Her While You Can” – showcases the heartfelt songwriting that introduced the world to Stephen’s nostalgic, romantic sound. Written largely before signing with Mercury Records, ‘What Was, Not Now’ remains a defining chapter in the early career of one of today’s most captivating artists.
