Description

More than a lost album, The Sound of Gloves opens a long-sealed chapter in the story of garage rock pioneers, The Music Machine. Centered around the band’s legendary 1967 Sound of Gloves demo album – the blueprint for a follow-up to their landmark Original Sound debut – the collection presents the intended album in its original sequence, alongside every Original Sound single side, rare mixes, alternate takes and previously unissued recordings. This 2CD set offers the most comprehensive look yet at one of garage rock’s great “what if” albums and the restless vision of frontman Sean Bonniwell. Includes extensive liner notes by Grammy-nominated producer and historian, Alec Palao. Released for Record Store Day Black Friday.
