As a collection, it works exactly as intended, namely to show off the singular and sheer range off her vocals, from the soppy emotional weight of ‘My Heart Will Go On’ and ‘All By Myself’ to the more playful pop turn of ‘I’m Alive.’ Duets with fellow pop behemoth Barbra Streisand and the Bee Gees remind you how Dion moved across genres and eras without losing her voice’s core power and as a physical object, this one is beautifully packaged. As a career overview, it’s hard to argue with.
