The Smile return in 2024 with their new album, Wall Of Eyes. Channeling jazz, kosmische, and prog, the Radiohead offshoot's second album burrows deeper into their strangely enchanting appeal. It was recorded between Oxford and Abbey Road Studios, and was produced and mixed by Sam Petts-Davies. The album also features strings from the London Contemporary Orchestra.
Since releasing A Light for Attracting Attention, their debut album as The Smile, in 2022, Thom Yorke, Johnny Greenwood, and drummer Tom Skinner have released two live albums and shared the song “Bending Hectic,” which is the lead single on Wall of Eyes. Other Highlights include the title track "Wall of Eyes" and "Friend of a Friend".
